Management and quality studies

Management and quality studies is an interdisciplinary field of knowledge that combines elements of management, economics, psychology, sociology, and quality engineering. Its main goal is to improve the functioning of organizations – both in terms of management effectiveness and the quality of products, services, and processes.

    Council of the Discipline of Management and Quality Sciences

    The main tasks of the council include:

    • Supervising the quality of scientific research conducted in the discipline.
    • Reviewing and approving topics of doctoral and habilitation theses, as well as appointing supervisors and reviewers.
    • Conducting advancement proceedings – awarding the academic degrees of Doctor (PhD) and Habilitated Doctor (DSc).
    • Co-creating the discipline’s development strategy within the university or institute.
